Cinequipt's Uninsured Fee
If a customer is unable to provide acceptable evidence of insurance coverage, Cinequipt, Inc. may offer to rent the equipment to the customer and charge an Uninsured Fee of 12% of the rental total.
1. We charge this fee to offset the cost of higher premiums on our insurance for rentals under which our insurance is the primary coverage.
2. This fee provides no access to any form of insurance coverage that we possess, nor does it provide any all risk replacement cost indemnification to the rental customer. The customer remains entirely responsible for any damage and/or loss to the equipment while in their possession.
3. We may also require a cash deposit, an authorized credit card, or an established open credit account at Cinequipt, Inc. for up to the full value of the replacement cost of the equipment being rented.
4. We also reserve the right to limit the amount of rental equipment that customers may rent if they don’t have acceptable proof of insurance.
